Although Stanford's mascot is officially a cardinal, it's more commonly interpreted to be a tree. Which, is... admittedly a bit strange, but it can also be very cute. It's not uncommon for people to make their own costumes and try out to be the 'official' mascot. (Or they just show up at the games, because really, who's gonna complain about a mascot showing up?)
You can find Stanford University at 450 Serra Mall in Stanford, California. You can also contact them through the phone using the phone number 650-723-2300.
I am planning to get a major in 'Health Professions and Related Programs' in order to become a therapist or a' college/postsecondary major in Education ,Junior High/Intermediate Middle School & Teaching.'
What's campus life like at Stanford?
At Stanford I would most likely live on campus. The campus is medium-sized and in a suburban setting in a small city. All freshmen students live on campus, and the majority of other undergrads also live on campus.
Selectivity?
Stanford is unfortunately an extremely selective school. They currently have 7,065 undergraduates. Their acceptance rate is around 6% of all their applicants.
Cost?
With tuition, room, board, and other various expenses included tuition in total comes up to around $60,421.
And yet...
The price can lower with the help of grants and scholarships. With the scholarships that I have available to me I can up to $30k deducted.
Scholarship applications?
Although I did not apply for a scholarship, I do know that if I did I would go for the "Voice of Democracy" scholarship and a Clothes Donation Scholarship.
